PROGRAM
HISTORY
Missouri legalize medical marijuana in 2018. By 2020, the state issued the following business licenses: 60 Cultivation, 86 Manufacturing, 92 Dispensary, and 2 Testing. As of May 2020, there were over 51,000 patients certified in Missouri, with a steady increase of 1,200 patients per month.
QUALIFYING
CONDITIONS
In order to qualify for the program, a Patient must obtain a physician certification indicating that s/he has been diagnosed with one of the following qualifying Medical conditions:
- Cancer
- Epilepsy
- Glaucoma
- HIV or AIDS
- A terminal illness
- Hepatitis C
- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- Crohn’s disease
- Huntington’s disease
- Autism
- Neuropathies
- Sickle cell anemia
- Alzheimer’s disease
- Cachexia or wasting syndrome
- Intractable migraines unresponsive to other treatment
- Multiple sclerosis, seizures, Parkinson’s disease, and Tourette’s syndrome
- Post-Traumatic Stress order, if diagnosed by a state licensed psychiatrist
- A chronic medical condition that is normally treated with a prescription medication that could lead to physical or psychological dependence
